March 2010

1st March – Whole school trip to The Golden Hind, Brixham. KS1 – Pirates, KS2 – Francis Drake & life on board an explorers ship. More details to follow.
4th March – World Book Day. Theme – Tall Tales of the Sea, come dressed as pirates, mermaids or adventurers, etc.  More details to follow.
4th March - Netball Coaching at Colyton Grammar (4-5pm)
5th March - Badminton Festival for Years 3 and 4 at Axe Valley Community College. (9.30-12.00noon)
10th March - Tag Rugby Festival, Colyton Grammar School (Yrs 3,4,5,6)
11th March - Louise Morris from The National Deaf Children's Society in to talk to Class 2 about ears & hearing as part of their science project on sound.
12th March Mothering Sunday Service 10a.m. at Dalwood Methodist Chapel
13th March – Children performing sea shanties & WWII songs at party and concert for Dalwood senior citizens. 4.30p.m. Dalwood Village Hall.
17th March  - Rebecca Evans in to do waste audit with children
29th March – Science teacher from Colyton Grammar visiting to do experiments

April 2010

1st April – Last day of 2nd half term
1st April - 9.15am: Egg Rolling. Lunchtime: Chick Hunt. Afternoon: Sharing Assembly
20th April - Pupils return to school fro the Summer Term
